admissions campus tours FIND THE RIGHT FIT COLLEGE OFFERINGS & CAMPUS TOURS To get the most out of your campus visits and tours, create a list of questions you need to have answered and the “must-haves” you’re looking for in a college. Mark the areas that are important to you: On-campus housing Clubs and activities Greek life Diversity Football games Meal plans Fitness centers/gym Class size Off-campus transportation Internship opportunities Option to have a car on campus Study abroad opportunities Driving distance from home Honors programs Small-town atmosphere Student-friendly worship services Safety measures on campus Tip for Parents: Colleges will correspond via email. Set up a family email address that students and parents can easily access, so no important information is missed. Choose the address carefully–colleges will often use inappropriate email addresses as a way to eliminate scholarship candidates. GET TO KNOW YOUR ADMISSIONS COUNSELORS: They are your number one resource. They will remind you of deadlines, answer questions, and connect you with the right people.
