Undergraduate Programme Handbook Aug 2013 i. 2 weeks before the module commencement date: The University will make no charge to the student or the student’s sponsor. Fees paid in advance of the module commencement date will be refunded. ii. Commencement of the module date: Unfortunately no refund is possible and the student or sponsor is liable for the full fees. 1. Where any student fails to notify the University how their module fees are to be funded before the module commencement date they will be responsible for settlement of their own fees. 2. Fee Enquiries - Any queries relating to procedures or payment of fees should be directed to Aimee Diamond, Registry Office, University Campus, Tel: 01382 385392. 3. Debts - Any student with outstanding debt on completion of a programme of study will not be allowed to graduate. This includes debts in relation to module fees, library, residences, module materials etc. Module or programme results may be withheld until payment arrangements have been confirmed. GRADUATION Once you have completed your programme of study, your work requires to be reviewed by an Examination Board and you will receive confirmation of your graduation status. The Examination Board meets twice per academic year usually in February, May and September / October Upon completion of the full BScN / BScM or BScHS degree you are invited to graduate with the School of Nursing and Midwifery in Dundee, and to participate in a bi- annual graduation ceremony usually held in June and November Graduation is one of the major achievements in anyone's life and we want to ensure that you, your family and friends have the very best possible time should you decide to come to Dundee to celebrate your success. There are a whole range of events taking place on the campus and across the city during graduation week.
