Gabriel’ s research examines the ways that wider mechanisms of race and racialisation influence the identity construction and quotidian lives of Malaysian Eurasians. His career goal is to be a researcher and academic, and through his work, aims to show that our lives are constantly in flux and shaped by the structures and processes around them. He aspires to provide better insights into the realities of people’ s lives to foster an appreciation of the multifaceted nature of the communities and individuals around us.
