1 Part-time studies are not available for international students . 2 Cognate disciplines include : humanities or social sciences . 3 Applicants for the Malaysia offering of this course will require at least 60 % average in both qualifications . Applicants with an average between 50 % to 60 % may be considered if they have at least five years of work experience in a relevant field ( as required by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency for applicants with less than CGPA 2.50 , equivalent to 60 % average ). 4 Business or Information Technology-related degree as a cognate discipline . 5 Applicants applying on the basis of work experience are required to provide a detailed curriculum vitae , outlining their employment history and professional experience . 6 Students with a prior 3-year engineering or a science qualification will need to undertake a prerequisite program , which will incur additional fees of RM6840 ( Malaysian student ) or RM7560 ( International student ) per unit for up to 8 units . Three-year engineering graduates may be eligible for credit for prior learning , subject to approval . This can reduce the number of units and duration required to complete the prerequisite program . Bursaries available . 7 The pathway for Entry Level 1 or Entry Level 2 is subject to an internal assessment of the applicant ’ s qualification to conform to the MQA Program Standards for Computing .
