The course is available for campus-based or distance learning . Depending on the type you choose , you can opt to focus on one or two of the following key subject areas , which would be reflected in the title of your exit award :

AWARDS There are many possible combination awards available to you : Route A
Focus mainly on one subject area from the list ( with the option to study one other general module if you want ).
Your exit award will reflect this – for example , MSc in Criminal Psychology .
Route B
Combine two subject areas and graduate with a dual exit award – for example , MSc in Forensic Investigation and Intelligence .
Duration – 1 year full time ( on campus ),

A second-class honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject . Exceptionally , applicants with strong and relevant work experience will be considered .
