CONTACT TIME
This Master ’ s degree will take two years : one year at University and one year gaining professional experience . During year 1 , expect about 12 hours a week of timetabled teaching activities such as lectures , seminars , tutorials , practical classes and workshops . During the 12 months of your professional experience module , your working hours will depend on your employer and role but are likely to be around 35 – 40 hours a week . You ’ ll also do around seven hours of seminars / tutorials and work on your assessment , for which you ’ ll need to dedicate independent study time .

You can expect optional live online seminars for each module you study , held at times when as many students as possible can attend . These will also be recorded for later viewing . All core material is available online at all times so you can create your own study schedule around work or other commitments .
