COURSE INFORMATION
You can expect 10 hours of teaching time ( five hours for part time ) every week . We do our best to keep all teaching within two days ( one day for part time ), leaving you the rest of the week for work experience or self-guided study . Currently full time students attend teaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays . In the last three months of the course you ’ ll be focusing on your research project .
CONTACT TIME
We recommend you allocate 37 hours per week ( 18 hours part time ) to your studies . Studies include teaching time ( lectures , seminars , labs and tutorials ), course work , independent learning and assessments . There ’ s a lot of lab and field work as part of this course – full time students could be in labs and lectures up to three days per week . On this course , roughly 80 per cent of teaching is on-campus and inperson , and 20 per cent ( tutorials ) online .
