Construction Project Management MSc
Advance your career in the global construction sector , learning to handle challenges within the industry , then to change and improve the industry itself .
Build the professional skills you need to tackle the technical , organisational , commercial , legal , and financial issues that arise across the construction sector . Dig into the social , economic and environmental issues that can affect large-scale construction projects .
Work with lecturers who contribute to current projects in the industry , looking at construction projects from the client side and the contractor side . Study real-life practical problems and active construction industry issues through site visits and case studies , using our local and global partnerships with construction organisations . Take on an independent research project and apply your learning and research skills to examining your choice of area within the construction industry . Graduate with the tools and knowledge to go further in the international construction sector , or to go on with further study in the field .

CONTACT TIME
You can expect 10 hours of teaching time every week ( five hours for part time students ). We do our best to keep all teaching within three days , leaving you the rest of the week for work experience or selfguided study . Currently , full time students are on campus on Tuesday and Thursday ; part-time students do Tuesdays in their first year , then Thursdays in the second year . In the last three months of the course you ’ ll be focusing on your research project .

Final Examination in Professional Practice ( Part 3 ) Architecture
Take the final step to becoming a professional architect . Be eligible to apply for the Final Certificate in Architecture ( Part 3 ) ARB / RIBA and practise as a qualified architect when you graduate .
Learn about current practice issues , legal and building legislation , and contractual issues in the industry . Improve your knowledge of the environment and sustainability , and the social and economic side of the construction industry . Apply your learning in workshops including our contract workshop , following a series of scenarios and roleplay with a JCT Standard Building Contract .
Connect with our experienced staff and industry experts and study practice management , law and contract , as set out in the ARB / RIBA syllabus . Complete a case study of a live project , relevant to your current professional role . Experiment in our design studios , featuring advanced architectural computer facilities , CNC milling machine , laser cutting machines , a virtual reality suite , and professional printers .
