A PhD by Publication is based on the research you ’ ve already undertaken and published ( excluding self-publishing ) before registering with us . Peer-reviewed academic papers , complete books or chapters in anthologies , creative or practice-based outputs , and any other materials accepted for publication , exhibited or performed are all eligible . You ’ ll have to submit a statement , setting out your view of the standing , substance , coherence and specific contribution to the knowledge of the work submitted .
