Entry Requirements
• CAE / CPE / Cambridge Linguaskill General : overall score of 162 with no score lower than 154 ; or
• IELTS : overall score of 5.5 with no band lower than 5.0 ; or
• Paper-based TOEFL : overall score of 471 , with a TWE score of at least 4.0 ; or
• Internet-based TOEFL : overall score of 52 , with a minimum score of 15 in writing , score of 14 in speaking , score of 5 in reading and score of 5 in listening ; or

• PTE Academic ( Pearson Test of Academic English ): overall score of 42 , with a writing communicative skills score of at least 36 and no PTE communicative skills score below 36 . Any other qualifications or requirements recognised by Monash University and the Malaysian Government . The published scores are based on Monash University ’ s English requirements and subject to change .
Additionally , the Malaysian Government has set an English requirement for each course , which may be higher than the University ’ s . When you apply , you will be advised if your qualification ( s ) have met the Malaysian Government ’ s requirement .

• An Australian bachelor ’ s degree ( or equivalent ) in a cognate discipline including humanities or social sciences with at least credit ( 60 %) average , or equivalent qualification and experience approved by the faculty ; or
• An Australian bachelor ’ s degree ( or equivalent ) and an Australian graduate certificate ( or equivalent ) in a cognate discipline including humanities or social sciences with at least a 60 percent average in both qualifications ; or equivalent qualification and experience approved by the faculty .
• Meet the English language requirements of the University ( Monash English Bridging is accepted ).
Applicants with an average between 50 % -60 % may be considered if they have at least five years of work experience in a relevant field , as required by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency for applicants with less than CGPA 2.50 ( equivalent 60 % average ).
Applicants will be expected to provide a Curriculum Vitae and reference from their employer to be assessed for relevant work experience as part of the application process . An employee would generally be required to undertake work that requires a level of autonomy and accountability . • An Australian undergraduate degree ( or equivalent ) with at least a WAM of 60 or equivalent or a qualification deemed equivalent by the Faculty and with a minimum of 5 years relevant employment .

• An Australian undergraduate degree ( or equivalent ) with a distinction ( 70 %) average or above in 24 points of studies at level three in the relevant area of business ; or

Entry level 1 : Up to 96 points to complete ( with the prerequisite program ) | Duration : Up to 2 years full-time , 4 years part-time
• An Australian bachelor degree in engineering , science , applied science , IT , or equivalent qualification approved by the Faculty .
• A minimum WAM 60 or equivalent .
• Meet the English language requirements of the University ( Monash English Bridging is accepted ).
Entry level 2 : 48 points to complete | Duration : 1 year full-time , 2 years part-time
• An Australian bachelor honours degree ( or equivalent ) in the engineering discipline .
• A minimum WAM 60 or equivalent .
• Meet the English language requirements of the University ( Monash English Bridging is accepted ).
• A degree in Bachelor of Engineering with upper H2B ( a mark of 65 or above ) in an honours year in a relevant field ; or
• Qualifications or experience that Graduate Research Committee considers to be equivalent to , or a satisfactory substitute for , the above .
