Step 4 Submit an application
You ' re ready to submit your application once you have an invitation to apply and supporting documents .
If you wish to be considered for a competitive , merit-based scholarship simply indicate this on the application form . There is no need to fill out a separate application form . For more information on the scholarships available , please get in touch with the respective School Research Office .

Log in and complete your personal profile
Create a new , copy an existing application
Complete the English proficiency section
Complete the research program section
Complete qualifications , research experience , referees and publications sections
Step 1 Check your eligibility
You ' ll need to have met the minimum entry requirements for graduate research . Check that you have the necessary academic qualifications and English language profiency , and are at least 17 years of age at the time of enrolment . Please contact the respective School Research Office for additional faculty-based requirements .
Step 2 Receive an invitation to apply
You need to receive an invitation to apply before you can submit your graduate research application . To receive one , you ’ ll need to complete an expression of interest ( EOI ) and / or find a supervisor who agrees to supervise your research .
It may take up to four weeks to receive an invitation , so make sure you start this as soon as you can . Please contact the respective School Research Office for guidance .
Step 3 Prepare your documentation
When completing your application , you ' ll be asked to upload copies of documents which include at least :
• academic curriculum vitae
• academic transcripts
• proof of citizenship
• proof of meeting the University ’ s English language proficiency requirement
• referee reports
• research proposal .
Complete the additional sections as determined by your chosen course
Complete the miscellaneous documents and curriculum vitae sections
Validate and submit the application
Step 5 Your application is assessed
Applications can take up to six weeks to be processed . Once the assessment process is complete you will be formally notified of the outcome . If you have applied for a scholarship , your School Research Office will get in touch with you .
Step 6 Accept your offer
If you receive an offer of admission and / or an offer of scholarship support , you are required to formally accept or decline the offer ( s ).
