‘I wanted to give myself an advantage against other candidates and distinguish myself to future employers. Portsmouth was one of the few universities that provide MSc Engineering Geology, in addition to this I preferred the modern style of teaching from this university. I’ve learnt to take advantage of opportunities; technical skills that will aid me in industry, and ways to improve my CV to best communicate to future employers.’ ‘There is massive support and resources available through the supervision team, Library and Graduate School.
