and practices that enable you to get the best from
your studies.
• If you have additional learning needs that impact
on your ability to access the campus, curriculum,
teaching, learning, assessment or examinations, our
Additional Support and Disability Advice Centre is
here to offer confidential advice and guidance.
• Our Chaplaincy is a peaceful place to meet your
friends, and for reflection and prayer. There are also
dedicated Islamic prayer facilities. Whatever your
faith, pop in for free tea and coffee or for spiritual,
ethical and emotional support.
• If you have a child aged six months to four years,
get in touch soon to ask about a place at our on-site
nursery.
• Our Maths Café has daily drop-in sessions, skills
workshops and a range of online resources. Get free
advice and assistance to develop your maths skills in a
friendly, informal environment.
• With a 120+ station gym, 50+ different taught fitness
classes and 20 virtual classes weekly, two indoor
sports halls, squash courts, all-weather outdoor
courts and pitches and more – our sport facilities are
excellent, and so are our gym memberships.
• Even before you register, our expert Student Housing
Team is ready to help you find accommodation that’s
right for you – from halls of residence, to private

Library is designed for the pursuit of learning. It’s open
24/7 during term time, and from 8:00am until midnight
during the summer break. You can access round-the-

Library is very well stocked with almost 700,000 ebooks
and 55,000 ejournals, a print collection of 300,000
books, more than 850 computers and loanable laptops.
