Prepare your documentation
Once you have your invitation to apply and have prepared your
documentation, you may submit an application.
If you wish to be considered for a competitive, merit-based
scholarship simply indicate this on the application form. There is no
need to fill out a separate application form. For more information on
the scholarships available, please get in touch with the respective
School Research Office.

Step 1: Register for an applicant ID

Step 3: Create a new, copy an existing application
Step 4: Complete the English proficiency section
Step 5: Complete the research program section
Your application is assessed
Step 6: Complete qualifications, research experience, referees and
publications sections
Step 7: Complete the additional sections as determined by your
chosen course
Accept your offer
Step 1
Check your eligibility
Check and ensure that you have met the minimum entry
requirements for the program that you have chosen. For your
application to be succcessful, you must satisfy the academic
performance, English language proficiency standard and be at least
17 years of age at the time of enrolment.
Please contact the respective School Research Office for additional
faculty based requirements.
Step 2
Obtain an invitation to apply and/or find
a supervisor
Graduate Research applications may only be submitted once you
have obtained an invitation to apply. It may take you up to four weeks
to obtain an invitation so you should initiate this process as soon as
possible.
In order to obtain an invitation, you will need to complete an Expression
of Interest (EOI) and find a supervisor to supervise your research.
Please contact the respective School Research Office for information
on lodging an EOI and finding a supervisor for the Graduate Research
Program.
Step 3
Prepare your documentation
When completing your application, you will be required to upload
copies of documents which include at least the following:

WHAT’S NEXT?
Applications can take up to six weeks to be processed. Once the
assessment process is complete you will be formally notified of the
outcome. If you have applied for a scholarship, your School Research
Office will get in touch with you.
If you receive an offer of admission and/or an offer of scholarship
support, you are required to formally accept or decline the offer(s).
REJECT/WITHDRAW AN OFFER
To reject/withdraw your Monash offer, please contact the respective
School Research Office that you have applied to. You should do this
before the offer lapse date specified in your Offer Letter.
