All scholarships listed here apply only for study at Monash University Malaysia unless stated otherwise.
Availability Eligibility Benefits
Graduate Research Pathway
Scholarship All Honours Degree Courses,
Master of Biomedical Science,
and Postgraduate Diploma in
Business and Commerce. Distinction average in a prior study
from a recognised university, and
meet all other entry requirements.
Selection based on academic
achievement for each discipline. 100% or partial tuition fee waiver.
Graduate Research Merit
Scholarship All postgraduate by research
degrees (Master and PhD) in priority
areas of research. Meet the minimum admission
requirements for the relevant
research degree. In general,
this is equivalent to a high distinction
average (H1 or First Class Honours)
from a recognised university.
Selection based on academic
achievement for each discipline. 100% tuition fee waiver, plus
a living allowance.
Alumni Bursary For Master of International Business,
Master of Communications and
Media Studies, Master of Business
Information Systems, and Master of
Professional Counselling only. Automatically applied each
semester for any commencing
Monash alumni graduating from
the Australian, South African or
Malaysian campuses. 10% tuition fee waiver.
Master of Advanced
Engineering (Energy
and Sustainability)
Scholarship For Master of Advanced Engineering
(Energy and Sustainability). Meet the minimum admission
and scholarship requirements for
the course. Partial tuition fee waiver.
Master of Professional
Counselling Scholarship For full-time study of the Master of
Professional Counselling. Meet the minimum admission
and scholarship requirements for
the course. Partial tuition fee waiver.
External financial assistance
Employees Provident Fund (For Malaysians and professionals working in Malaysia)
The EPF allows you to utilise your savings in Account 2 to finance your education.

The availability of Scholarships and Financial Assistance are subjected to terms and conditions,
which may be reviewed by the University from time to time. All scholarships are mutually exclusive
