Our 600 acre campus is home to our accommodation, lots of restaurants and cafés, the Students’ Union, a health centre and all teaching( except for some medicine and health courses).
Student Union( SU) Keele University Students’ Union( KeeleSU) is at the heart of campus life. Run by elected student officers, it aims to deliver the very best in support, representation and student experience. It also offers students a place to meet, study, eat and shop and consistently ranks highly for the breadth of events, entertainment and opportunities it offers. As a postgraduate student at Keele University, you have access to all of our services and entertainment. We have many opportunities for you to get involved through our societies, clubs and volunteering.
Study We have two libraries: one on campus, open 24 / 7 during semesters( keele. ac. uk / library) and the other at the Royal Stoke University Hospital( keele. ac. uk / healthlibrary) for our healthcare students. Both offer free Wi-Fi and a choice of study spaces.

Faith and Worship We are proud of our campus diversity and therefore aim to support you in your worship whatever your religion, faith, belief or background. There are many opportunities to practice faith at Keele. Keele Chapel is central to the campus and provides a focus for worship from many Christian denominations. The Islamic Centre offers space for Muslim prayer. There is a variety of vibrant religious groups and societies as well as space for meditation, quiet reflection or prayer. The Chaplaincy service is available to people of all faiths and none and offers pastoral, as well as spiritual support.
Transport A regular bus service operates between the campus and Stokeon-Trent via Newcastle. Several other bus operators travel to and from Keele as well. The main route allows students to travel to and from the hospital. The nearest mainline railway stations are Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe. Both are accessible by bus. Manchester and Birmingham international airports are both accessible by train from Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe.
Nursery For those students who have young children, we offer a Day Nursery that is situated on campus and is registered with Staffordshire Social Services and Ofsted. The purpose built state of the art facilities are set within their own secure grounds on campus and offer a rich and stimulating learning environment in which children are safe, happy and cared for. The nursery has 35 members of staff, with places for up to 128 children ranging from three months to five years. Schools For those with children of school age, there are four primary schools within a mile of Keele and three secondary schools within three miles, all accessible by bus from campus. There are also two private schools closeby. gov. uk / find-school-in-england
Sport Promoting a healthy lifestyle is a key objective for Keele. Between studies we want to provide our students with a range of activities to enjoy and participate in. Our excellent range of sports facilities both indoor and outdoor, along with our well-equipped fitness centre provides a variety of opportunities, for performance and school sport.
