Next , we asked children what we want our classroom community to feel like for kids who are choosing toys or activities . They agreed that we want our school to be a place where everyone can be comfortable being themselves . We asked them to consider what message they would like to give others about our discussions . They created posters featuring those messages . We displayed them in school and then carried them outside at dismissal so that we could share our posters with the rest of the school !
