Rosario: La Casa del Tango Cultural Centre Argentina’ s second city has a rich tango heritage. Head to La Casa del Tango Cultural Centre for regular dance classes and workshops, plus performances from singers, musicians and dancers.
Córdoba: Milonga de la Plaza San Martín This free open-air milonga takes place every Saturday night in the Old Town in front of Asunción Cathedral. Passers-by are encouraged to slip onto the stony dance floor under the yellow street lights.
Mendoza: Tango Vid Sit back and let the experts entertain you at Tango Vid, a dinner and show at Hualta Winery Hotel in downtown Mendoza. It explores tango’ s rise from the streets of Buenos Aires in the 1880s to the vibrant rhythms of the 1940s. A live band sets the pace as you enjoy a three-course meal paired with wines from the hotel’ s own winery.
