Study Programme 1
Students focus exclusively on their chosen strand, which is the recommended path for most. Strand subjects are UAL Level 3 Extended Diplomas, taught over two years, with a minimum of 15 hours timetabled per week.
UAL qualifications are equivalent to 3 A-Levels, graded at Pass, Merit, or Distinction, with UCAS points awarded as follows:
Pass: 72 Merit: 120 Distinction: 168
The UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma is a significant qualification requiring strong focus and dedication to complete both formative and summative assessments. It is a substantial standalone qualification, supporting progression to higher education or employment opportunities.
