Our plan merges well with our overall corporate social responsibility policies, which also features our environmental and charitable commitments.
At Posh Pad Lettings we are keen to improve the reputation of Lettings' Agencies. We do not believe in charging high tenancy application fees and keep our costs down to ensure we can offer a very competitive service for all our clients. To illustrate this, our tenancy application fees are up to 75% lower than other agencies.
In the future, we hope to be even more competitive with our application fees and offer the best experience for our clients, thus being the first choice for both Landlords and Tenants.
Moreover, for Landlords, all our fees are fixed. We do not have percentage-based fees and this will be of enormous help to Landlords in controlling their outgoings. We have also teamed up with Hallmark Utility Management and British Gas to ensure all utilities are simply transferred to new Tenants when they move in. With British Gas, you can also get a smart meter fitted.
Through British Gas we are able to offer gas safety certificates, appliance cover, boiler cover, and much more. Feel free to contact us and ask how much we can save you.
Ultimately, we are looking to expand our connections with local and national businesses and companies to improve our standards and offer the best available services to all our clients.
For our Tenants, we want to make life as simple as possible. From the beginning of your journey with Posh Pad Lettings to finding your new perfect home, our staff are available 7 days a week with extended opening hours at all offices. Our new website enables Tenants to house-hunt using our iOS and android apps! Once you find your new home, you can pay your application fees, submit your application and even sign your new Tenancy Agreement all from our website! We really do want to make moving hassle-free.
Our staff are not paid on commission so they are not going to try and push tenants into taking any available property! We believe that if we treat our staff right, they will treat our customers right, and vice versa.
THE ENVIRONMENT & CHARITY
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Posh Pad Lettings is committed to helping the environment in whatever way we can, whether this is making sure products for our offices are sourced from local and national environmentally-friendly providers, and that companies we work with also do their utmost to be environmentally-friendly too.
We aim to minimise our carbon footprint. We also re-use and recycle products frequently. Currently, we do our best to fulfil this, but also intend to go the extra mile to maintain this standard.
As a company, we try and reduce the amount of printing and paper we use, but where it is unavoidable and must print something, we always make sure we use recycled material. Where possible, all the stationary we purchase is made from recycled goods.
Our office in Hull is located in the Enterprise Building, which also has many solar panels on the roof, as do numerous other buildings on campus.
If that is not enough to highlight our dedication and caring approach to the environment, we also donate monthly to the Campaign to Protect Rural England, National Trust, and English Heritage. On top of this, we aim to expand the number of charities we donate to as we develop as a business.
Feel free to visit us and have some coffee or tea with us, and a biscuit - they are all fair-trade.
Lastly, as part of our hampers for new tenants, we also include products that are sourced locally and nationally, including products which are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
OTHER
In 2014, only 62.05% of the UK was satisfied with waste management - we aim to improve this by doing our bit.
