The fenestrations have been designed as to illumination the exhibits without users experiencing glare.
The wall with an opening placed in front of the central exhibit
space creates curiosity and excitement in the user.
Aquatic Gallery:
The users’ circulation path through the gallery resembles the meandering Amazon river.
Atrium:
The atrium has been designed as an overwhelming double height space enclosed by
the museum spaces on one side and a perforated jali wall on the other.
The jali wall in addition to providing ventilation creates interesting light and shadow patterns in the atrium space.
Plant Gallery:
The central double height light-well provides sunlight for the tall living
tree exhibits, and also, ventilates the gallery.
