Photography is my outlet for expressing the way that I see the world around me . I want to convey the memory of a time and place in my photographs . Not just as it was , but as I felt and experienced it .
The intent of my work is to evoke an emotional resonance within the viewer . I believe that there is an ancient rhythm in the world that ignores everything in our modern lives . It is wild and patient , and natural .
I find constant inspiration in the margins between shadow and light where that eternal rhythm is most apparent , and the interplay between these margins is the underlying theme of all of my images ."
