Generator Hall is a dazzling chandelier of polished copper , bursting with precious amethyst and quartz geodes . Named “ The Big Bang ” this fixture represents a modern interpretation of the birth of energy itself as well as the importance of natural sciences .
Plant Riverside District includes three unique hotel experiences : The Power Plant , inspired by power , is a tribute to the building ’ s historic architecture with 575,000 pieces of original brick re-purposed in the final design . Three Muses , inspired by beauty and classic European glamor , is elegantly perched on a foundation of wood pilings reclaimed from the Savannah River after being submerged for more than 100 years . Inside , guests are greeted with an exquisite Barovierstyle chandelier , modernized with Murano glass . Finally , the stately Atlantic is inspired by a luxury yacht , featuring traditional maritime detailing with a collection of commissioned artwork by Shane Pendley , bringing to life the Savannah River and the beauty that surrounds it .
The revived plant and its surrounding district , now transformed into an electric entertainment area , generates a new kind of energy for those who visit Savannah . Plant Riverside
