AIG ’ s full-service wood shop applies , repairs , and refinishes a wide range of high-quality veneers for aircraft bulkheads , cabinets , rails , and panels , finalizing the process with multiple coats of either a high-gloss or matte finish , applied in their custom paint booth .
As for upholstery , the design and pattern of the seats and divans ( couches ) is what transforms the aircraft interior . AIG prides itself in selecting only the finest materials available from a multitude of manufacturers to provide the most distinguished upholstery in the industry . With the ability to create updated foam designs for both seats and divans , the process is finished with care with hand-sewn stitching in an array of patterns – all created by the most experienced craftsmen who have completed hundreds of aircraft .
