Vintage P90®
The Porter Vintage Tele set is made for the vintage junkies. It features vintage type plain enamel wire in the neck (43AWG) and bridge (42AWG). The neck pickup comes standard with a brushed nickel cover for a vintage look. The bridge features a steel baseplate and is wrapped with black string that we dye ourselves. Set is lightly wax potted. Classic old school tones in both positions, and balanced for a nice middle position sound. Both neck and bridge have AlNico 3 magnets and vintage cloth hookup wire.

Neck Cover: Chrome or Gold (Bare is Standard)
Bridge Baseplate: Copper or Zinc Coated (Steel is Standard)
Bridge String: We can wrap it with white string if you would like.

We developed the Vintage P90 for the player who likes the old P90 tones. P90's are known for their untamed nature and the Vintage model is no different. We can wind these with a traditional wind using vintage spec plain enamel wire (Same as our PAF humbucker model) or a "Hot" wind using a smaller gauge wire. Tones are raw and thick, with great response to overdrive and a nice round and full sound. Very good note definition and sustain. Available in Soap Bar or Dog Ear configuration.
