# 6 Hash Brown Casserole
A tasty main dish for two or three, this casserole is rich and creamy.
• 1 / 2 pound ground beef, browned
• 1 1 / 2 cups frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
• 1 tablespoon white gravy mix, dry
• 1 / 4 cup milk
• 1 / 4 cup sour cream
• 1 / 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 2 green onions, sliced
• 1 / 2 cup French fried onions
In a cup, mix gravy mix, milk, and sour cream. Set aside. In a # 6 Dutch oven, combine browned beef, hash browns, cheese, and green onions. Stir in gravy mixture. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes, using approximately three coals under the DO and eight coals on the lid. Top with French fried onions. Bake an additional 15 minutes or till bubbly
# 6 Double-Cheese Green Beans
Double-Cheese Green Beans make an easy side dish in the baby Dutchie.
• 1 / 2 onion, thinly sliced
• 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon butter, divided
• 1 can cut green beans, drained
• 1 / 4 cup sour cream
• 1 / 4 cup cream cheese, softened
• 1 / 2 teaspoon pepper or to taste
• 1 / 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 1 / 2 cup soft bread crumbs
Melt one tablespoon butter in a # 6 Dutch oven. Stir in bread crumbs, remove, set aside. In the DO, sauté onion in one teaspoon butter. Reduce heat, add sour cream and cream cheese, and stir over low heat till cheese is melted and mixture is combined. Add green beans, tossing lightly to coat. Sprinkle with cheese, then bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes.
# 6 Lime Cheesecake
This tangy citrus cheesecake is a cool ending to a summer meal.
• 1 / 8 cup milk
• 1 / 4 cup lime juice
• 1 egg
• 1 / 2 cup sugar
• 1 / 4 cup original Bisquick
• 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, cubed and softened
• Kiwi slices or berries, optional
At home, blend first five ingredients in blender 15 seconds. Add cream cheese and blend two minutes. Place in tight container and keep chilled. Use within two days; shake before baking.
Line # 6 Dutch oven with foil and spray with cooking spray. Pour cheesecake mixture into DO. Bake at 350 about 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Using foil, remove cheesecake from DO and cool completely before serving. Garnish with kiwi slices or berries as desired.
