He specializes in presidential politics , American political thought , political ideologies , popular culture , and the politics of Social Security and health care . He has been Distinguished Fulbright Lecturer to India , and Senior Fulbright Scholar , University of Hong Kong .
H . Peter Steeves is Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Humanities Center at DePaul University . He is the author of eight books , including the forthcoming Being and Showtime ( Northwestern U P , 2019 ). He has published more than 130 book chapters and journal articles . His current research focuses primarily on cosmology and astrobiology�on the origin events of both the cosmos and life .
