I have spent many hours viewing various episodes of Sesame Street (both full length and highlights), online, via DVD sets, as well as episodes currently syndicated on the PBS channel. Throughout these viewings I noticed a number of changes to the show; however, its basic format continues to be comparable to what it was in its inception (they still use a similar pastiche of visual, aural and textual elements).
