M id-Atlantic Alm anack
The Mid-Atlantic Almanack, the annual refereed journal of the MidAtlantic Popular/American Culture Association, has issued an open call
for papers for the 1996 edition.
Send your m anuscript to the editor, Ralph Donald, Departm ent o f
Communications, the University of Tennessee at Martin, Martin, TN,
38238-5099 (901-587-7558). Please enclose three double-spaced copies
and a self-addressed, stamped manilla envelope. Illustrations may
accompany the text, but the author is responsible for obtaining written
reproduction permission from copyright holders. Preferred article length
is less than 20 pages, including notes and bibliography. Documentation
may be in the fonn appropriate for the discipline of the writer. Otherwise,
MLA style is preferred. Promising articles will be sent to two associate
editors for open peer review and publish/not publish recommendations.
Contributing authors are asked, but not required, to Join the Mid-Atlantic
Popular/American Culture Association.
