The artwork was amazing and emotional. You can’t help but be drawn into the cover (Well that was my hope) and wonder what’s happening. Even Creed’s character design is supposed to make people wonder. Are his hands really that big? Why are his weapons chained to his hands? Does he even own a comb? Then when they pull back, I hope, they think “I’ve never seen a character as distinctive as this!” The original character design was done by Joshua Clarke. I gave him the ideas and he put them to paper. Or

whatever it is that artists work on as a medium these days!

Who is your favourite character from your book and why?

Lesyjilva. She is utterly insane and psychopathic. She’s a goddess with nigh-unlimited might and the personality of a hormonal drama-queen. Yes. A drama queen mixed with a touch of Hitler. I’m serious. That woman is full on cray-cray. Lesyjilva’s Touch was the most difficult story for me to write. I just wanted to make sure I got her right! I care about that beast so much that whatever happens with or to her needed to be on point. Did I mention that she was crazy? I mean full blown nuts!

Give us an interesting fun fact about your book?

I have hidden lots of easter-eggs and subtle plot points in the book. When you finish the book, hopefully you say “WHAT THE HECK!” and re-read it and say “I should have seen that coming! How did I miss that?” I also like plot twists and killing/maiming characters. At one point in the book, a reader contacted me and said “How the hell could you kill XXXXXXXX. Are you crazy?” All I could do was smile. He was hooked. He actually went on to write an amazing review on Amazon.

Oh, there’s lots of rum drinking in the book. A few years back I invented a signature drink for myself and in my infinite hubris, I placed it into the book. LOL. Look out for it.

What are some of your hobbies?

I believe that as human beings, we are created to create and I follow suit. I’m most happy creating something – even when doing what many perceive as “work”. I’m happiest when I’ve mixed one of my signature drinks, have a nice buzz, and let my imagination run riot. “Write/Create drunk and Edit/Critique sober.” If I am not “working” because I hardly consider it work, because I have so much fun, I’m reading comics, watching a pop-culture related flick, or liming with my inner circle.
