Following the pedestal assembly , the column base is lowered to the top of the pedestal and attached . Pedestals can also be installed around existing columns to update and freshen the look . Please specify if your column is round or square , as well as the width , so that we can correctly cut out the top platform of the pedestal to install around your column .
