Gallery building, whilst spiraling from the high ceiling are two sculptures
by Grace Tan, each finished in violet and gold metallic. However, the décor
pales against the outstanding view of the Padang parkland, a collection of
the city’s historic buildings and the dazzling Marina Bay Sands’ light show
and skyline, which maps out below.
The 90-seater restaurant itself incorporates Italian accents like
mirrored tiles and brass wall sconces, a highly polished bar and low-angled
lighting, all evocative of a Roman bar. Of special note is the museum-worthy
furniture – in particular, the Uragano contemporary whicker chair, which
boasts a counterpart in a permanent exhibit at New York’s Museum of
Modern Art.
All whilst sitting atop the iconic gallery space that houses some of the
greatest exhibitions from international and local artists.
