Argentina has a new president, Polo Association president that is. Succeeding Francisco
Dorignac, Eduardo Novillo Astrada became the new president of the Argentine Polo
Association and his ideas and innovations became evident as soon as the 124th Argentine
Polo Open began. Being one of the best polo players in the world and belonging to the highly
revered Novillo Astrada polo family, Eduardo’s tenure as president of the Association will turn
out be, without a doubt, very significant.

The tournament comprised of 10 teams holding a handicap of 29-40 goals, kicked off on
November 4th, indeed one week earlier than usual and ending on December 2nd; thus
ensuring that all Polo enthusiasts would witness a most exciting tournament!

For zone A, two highly skilled teams kicked off the tournament: La Irenita San Germán Seguros
vs. La Esquina L. M. Navarro Correas, followed by another rousing match between La Aguada
Las Monjitas and La Albertina.
