Saturday’s games in Palermo were not only significant in terms of what the outcomes would mean to each team but extremely intense, I repeat: EXTREMELY INTENSE! For starters La Dolfina played their most agressive game to date within the championship, regardless of playing against a team that was not up to par; therefore, Cambiaso's team easily defeated La Irenita 21-4. It is worthy of note that each player for La Dolfina scored more than one goal during this match. This doesn't always happen; but then again, this is La Dolfina! Meantime, La Albertina Abu Dhabi shattered La Esquina Los Machitos 17-8. The wins were well deserved without a doubt but the importance of the outcome went beyond the number of goals scored. At a glance it meant that the next rival to play La Dolfina in the Semifinals would be La Aguada Las Monjitas. For La Albertina this win signified their first win in the tournament; improving their possibilities to qualify for the 125th Argentine Open. Unfortunately, the loss suffered by La Esquina meant their elimination from the championship, and their failure to qualify for the 2018 Argentine Triple Crown. 19
