There is no other whiskey that
has embraced as many royal
references in its creation as
Macallan Diamond Jubilee has.
Especially blended for Queen’s
Diamond Jubilee, the whiskey
is a sherry-matured limited
edition bottling of Macallan of
which only 2012 bottles were
manufactured for that particular
year’s commemoration. But it
doesn’t end there as meticulous
attention to detail was put in to
ensure every bit of the whiskey
celebrated the Queen in a way
she deserves.
Even the casks were chosen
to refer to historical relevance,
for instance February 6, when
Queen’s accession took place
and June’s first week when
Jubilees have been traditionally
celebrated. Moreover, the
whiskey was bottled at 52% abv
to commemorate the year of
the Queen’s coronation. The best
thing about the blend isn’t in just
the numbers but how it feels and
