Hybrid Mode In this setting, you can cruise at speeds of up to 9 knots at noise levels of just 46dB. This noise level is equivalent to soft rain! The yacht possesses two water-cooled DC electric shaft motors of 127kW each, which quietly power the yacht. The benefits of these motors are silent cruising and higher maneuverability in close quarters. Economic Mode At this setting, you can cruise at speeds of 9 to 12 knots with the main engines on, and the generators turned off. This mode is ideal for longer passages where a balance of fuel consumption, power, and speed is required. The economic mode comes with few interesting perks as well, which include the frugal fuel consumption (at 12 knots the yacht burns just 98 liters per hour) and the extended generator service life. Cruising Mode In this setting, you can cruise at speeds of 12 to 15 knots. This is the vessel’s traditional cruising mode, where the diesel engines drive the yacht’s propellers, and the generators provide the hotel load. Boost Mode In this setting, you can cruise at a maximum speed of 16.3 knots, for which the generator-powered shaft motors are brought into service alongside the main engines to give an extra kick of power. These power modes can be adjusted to manage the vessel’s power and fuel consumption according to requirement and allows you to navigate the water without needing to limit your experience. Aesthetic Exterior The exterior of the vessel has been designed by Dutch designer Frank Laupman of Omega Architects. The exterior features modern, minimalistic, and contemporary elements that create a radical and stunning profile with a nearly vertical bow. The distinct blend of functionality and aesthetics is apparent at each angle of the vessel, especially for the vertical bow, which combines a trending style with practical engineering that provides the vessel with progressive buoyancy when carving through waves. The distinct bow shape also allows crew chambers to be placed more to the front of the vessel, leaving more room for the hotel compartments and accommodations. Combined with the sharp exterior design of the vessel and the powerful capabilities of the propulsion system, Project Electra is the perfect choice for seakeeping when carving through rough waters or sailing across the peaceful ocean. These features give an attractive, eye-catching look to the vessel that is sure to attract attention at every destination so that you can cruise in style across the world. Organic Interior Design The vessel possesses five lower deck suites that can accommodate twelve guests. In addition, Project Electra also offers a master stateroom on the main deck forward.
