STEVE BRUCE
Bruce took over the helm at Hull City in June 2012 following the departure of Nick Barmby.
Bruce quickly gained a repuation for not being able to stay in a job for very long, having managed Sheffield United, Huddlesfield Town, Wigan Athletic and Crystal Palace in his first 3 years as a manager.
Bruce finally settled at Birmingham City, guiding them to promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs. The Blues enjoyed 4 years in the Premier League before being relegated. After relegation, Bruce battled through some criticism to get Birmingham back promoted to the Premier League.
After starting the 2007/2008 season with Birmingham, Bruce opted to rejoin Wigan Athletic in November 2008 with Blues receiving £3million compensation. Bruce battled to sucessfully steer Wigan away from relegation and to a mid-table finish in the following season.
Bruce then took over as manager of Sunderland for two seasons, attaining two mid-table finishes in the process before being dismissed in November 2011. He was linked with a number of posts before joining Hull.
