NEWS OF THE HAWTHORNS WORLD:
Pepe needs you!
Ole ole ole ole, Pepe, Pepe. You sing his name when times are going well, just like at The Liberty last week. Pepe Mel needs your support every game, all game. He’s calling for you. Mel wants your support all season long. If you read the last page, you can see that we’re in the thick of a relegation dog fight and we have tough fixtures coming up. With tickets subsidised for last week’s game, £5 club vouchers for purchasing tickets for today’s game and free coach travel for the Norwich game, the club are doing their bit. It’s down to you now. COME ON YOU BAGGIES!
The Liquidator
For those of you who have been coming to The Hawthorns for the last decade, you should know what the liquidator is, anyone who doesn’t know what this is, have a quick internet search and you’ll remember it straight away. Some of you will be aware that there are several petitions to get the liquidator back to The Hawthorns for the game against Cardiff. Keith Downing and Dean Kiely are also trying their best behind the scenes to get it back to create an electric atmosphere. We are urging all of you to sign any petition, write to the club, do whatever you can to get it back, those of you that do remember it will remember the atmosphere it created and, at this stage of the season and in the position that we are in, we need this. I just hope you all remember the words, well, who can forget, eh?
Curry, Pint, Albion.
What sounds better? I can’t think of anything better. Well, you can spend an evening with head coach Pepe Mel and his staff at The Hawthorns. You will get your chance to ask the Spanish gaffer and burning questions you might have during a Q&A session. Tickets cost £25 for the Curry and a Pint night this Wednesday, March 26th, from 7pm, which is hosted by Free Radio’s Tom Ross. Tickets are still available but you should act fast to avoid disappointment.
