MEET THE STAFF Austin Trantham, Ph.D. Dr. Austin Trantham is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Jacksonville University. He serves as Coordinator of the Political Science program, organizer of the JU Constitution Day event, and member of the Public Policy Institute’s Governance Committee. Dr. Trantham received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Kentucky, Master of Arts degrees in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and American University, and his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science from Austin College. Dr. Trantham is a member of the Academic Advisory Board for McGraw-Hill, past member of the Richard E. Neustadt Award Committee for the American Political Science Association, and has served the Jacksonville Public Library as a facilitator for its Great Decisions Program. Areas of Policy Interest: Foreign, Education Elizabeth Feustel, J.D. Elizabeth Feustel is the Master in Public Policy (MPP) Program Manager at Jacksonville University, where she also serves as a Lecturer in Public Policy, Pre-Law Advisor and Faculty Sponsor of the Pre-Law Society. Ms. Feustel received her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law and MPP from Jacksonville University, as a member of the first cohort of MPP students in Florida. Ms. Feustel also received her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Jacksonville University, with double minors in English and Philosophy. Elizabeth serves on the JAX Chamber Government Affairs Committee, as the Public Policy Chair of ImpactJAX and as an appointed member of the City of Jacksonville’s Joint Planning Committee. Elizabeth was a member of Class I of the ImpactJAX Hightower Emerging Leaders Fellowship and Class IV of the James Madison Institute’s Leaders Fellowship. Areas of Policy Interest: Criminal Justice, Economic Affairs, Education, Government Operations and Public Finance Jenna Blyler, M.P.P. '21 Jenna Blyler is the Academic Media Specialist for the Office of Academic Affairs at Jacksonville University, where she is a current Master in Public Policy Student. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Psychology from Jacksonville University, cum laude. Jenna received the Division of Social Sciences Outstanding Student Award for Politics and Government, is member of Jacksonville University's honorary Green Key Society and Psi Chi, and plans to pursue a career in investigative journalism.
