for an interview with Pole
Mania. On behalf of all of
us here at Pole Mania I
would like to congratulate
you once again to the first
place at The Czech pole
sport championship 2014.
We interviewed you about
your feelings immediately after the final. How do
you see your success now
after some time?
R: Until the very last moment I was still thinking
whether to compete or
not. While other competitors were nervous I was
discussing with Verča
(Veronika Řehořová) which
floor-work would be the
best. When I came on the
stage, I was neither nervous nor I had stage-fright.
I had started on static pole
with a difficult spin and did
it without problems so I
decided to continue. I was
preparing choreography
for the part with slow music basically on the stage. I
tried to choose such transitions which would allow
me to take at least a little
bit take of rest in between.
The ending of my choreography was very exhausting
but fortunately I was able
to dance till the very end.
When I was bowing to the
audience I felt moved and
happy that I had managed
through after all and hadn’t
given up. I already knew
that I won over myself.
If everything was fine before the championship,
I would be much more
nervous for sure. Thus, all
the troubles were actually
beneficial for me. I also
appreciated the support
from others and was really
shocked when I received
the financial prize. Since
