Gigi Maguire is next to take the stage and she is
not coming alone! She has three girls with her and
together they are- the Snack Pack! Created by Gigi, the Snack
Pack is well known throughout the city for their acrobatic
techniques in this fine art of nude dancing. This could be the
first time you’ve seen four women transform their bodies into bicycles, surfers on surf boards, and swing sets right before your
eyes! Voila! Magic!
Well, that’s how it used to be until December 10, 2011, the retirement party of this vixen. And after six years she is no longer
available for viewing at Magic City! This celebration was one of the largest in the city that month, bringing out a slew of
celebrities and other “ballers” in the city as well as a number of dancers from other clubs! Gigi Maguire herself is considered a
“local celeb”, being Magic City’s “It Girl”, the face of their marketing and promotions, on top of taking the cover of the 2011
Magic City calendar. But none of this happened over night!
Gigi started dancing 10 years ago in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a young mother, mourning the death of her daughter’s father.
She confided in her god-sister whom she was living with at the time, about her financial woes. Her god-sister, wanting to help,
began to ask around and elicit help from her clients (she was a hair stylist). One of her clients told her about Delilah’s (the
gentlemen’s club and steakhouse) and that message was relayed to Gigi who said she went into the club and started the same
night.

igi battled with this lifestyle and whether or not it was something she really wanted so she stopped dancing for two
years and bartended. Her main goal was not to get consumed by the lifestyle and not allow it to affect her personal
relationships. That didn’t go the way she planned. She managed to maintain a loving a supportive relationship with her
now 15 year-old daughter who she refers to as “Mini Gi”, but her relationships with men was non-existent for a while.
“I have to be honest and say my daughter is one of the reasons I’ve decided to leave- she’s in high school now and I know these
things could become an issue,” she said. “With men, it’s often been a problem because many men can’t handle it and for a while I
didn’t even make an attempt at being in a relationship because I knew it wouldn’t work.”
But Gigi is in a relationship at this time and her man in addition to her daughter are happy she has left the strip club even though
she said- SHE IS NOT RETIRED!
“I find myself having to correct people all the time. I never use the “R” word because I still dance part time,” Gigi said. “I no
longer dance in “general population”- I’ve been a feature girl since 2005 so I get flown around the country and have shows
coordinated around me!”
Gigi said she kind of sprung the information on everyone at Magic by going into work one night and announcing, “This is
my last night!” At that point, the managers and girls decided to put together the “retirement party” that was actually more of a
“graduation party” for Gigi.
