The person I interviewed is my mom. She selected a song, ‘I Lived’ by One Republic. She likes the lyrics because they are about having the courage to live life. It reminds her of living life to the fullest and it brings back memories of how she handled failure. Her favourite lines are , “Hope that you spend your days/ And they all add up/ And when the sun goes down/ Hope you raise your cup”.
