OLIVER TWIST
9th grade students read "OLIVER TWIST" in English Literature lesson.They analysed the
characters and talked about the plot and setting.They also acted some scenes from the novel in
the classroom.They prepared the review of the novel with the biography of the auther.
the aim of this classroom activity is
1-to create a vivid library for the students in the classroom to provide an area for them to enjoy
reading ,express their ideas in front of others and learn critical thinking
2-to enhance their awareness about the importance of reading classic novels.
3-to improve their language skills reading,writing,speaking and aunderstanding
4-to enhance their understanding that school is not a place to teach subjects only also is
essential to learn about real life.
