ERASMUS WEEK IN PORTUGAL
Torres Novas – Portugal – 6th- 12th May 2018
My name is Eren. I am 16. I am new like this projects and it is my first time to travel
abroad. When ı heard something about Erasmus Project in our school, ı am so excited
and ı don't know what we are going to do or how is it going to be. Finally, ı thought
everything and ı decided to join this project because ı thought its so be useful for my
career, my future and of course travel to abroad ( maybe if ı win this chance). So ı want
to thank my teachers and Erasmus Project. I have had new experiences with you. It is the
first time to go somewhere without my parents and ıt is the longest travel ı have ever
had. Of course, ı met new foreigners and ı learnt about different culture from the World.
That is so amazing experience for me.
When we heard that we have gained the
chance to go to Portugal, we were so happy to win this and our parents were proud of us
but we didn’t have any idea about what is going be and we were very excited. By the
way, we were worried about this. On my side, ı started to think about Portuguese people.
Because ı didn’t know much about them, their cultures. So ı started to search about
Portugal. It was the first great thing about this project. Because ı searched new place and
learnt new information that ı have never heard. I continued to search for all the
knowledge about Portugal and tried to learn everything.
Days passed. The last week came and we started to prepare everything (suitcase, the
decoration of theatre, etc.). So we were ready to fly . When we got off the plane, ı fell
the hot weather and ı thought " in 8 hours ago ı was in Turkey. ıt was rainy but now ı am
in Lisbon and the weather is very hot." We met new people there. It was the second great
thing about Erasmus project. Because ıt provides stuedents to meet other people and you
become more sociaable l than ever.At night we stayed near our host family. So our real
adventure began.
