ERASMUS+ PROJECT “POETRY DRAMA AND CLASSICS are on STAGE”

1st of April
After a long road we finally make it to our final
destination – Turkey, Trabzon. It is a city on the Black
Sea coast of northeastern Turkey and the capital
of Trabzon Province . Students and teachers from
Ortahisar Kanuni Anadolu lisesi gives us warm welcome.
We are amazed by Trabzon’s nature, the beautiful
mountains and hospitability of the inhabitants of
Trabzon. Trabzon is amazingly beautiful. We said hello
to our partners from other countries – Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Portugal.
We had a trip to Uzungol. In our way to Uzungol, we stopped by „Sürmene” tea factory. Owners of the tea
factory gave us warm welcome – there was a lot of traditional turkish songs and dances. We had an
opportunity to try amazingly delicious turkish tea. We had a lot of fun. When we made it to Uzungol, we
were amazed – beautiful mountains and stunning lake view. Uzungol is a lake situated to the south of the
city of Trabzon in Turkey. Over the years it has become a major tourist attraction. 34,920 foreign and
406,622 domestic people visited Uzungöl in the last year. We had amazingly tasty dinner in Uzungol. It was
amazing – we tried the traditional turkish foods that are popular in Trabzon province. After our trip to
Uzungol, we met our host families. It was a day full of adventures.
2nd of April
In the morning we are visiting Kanuni
Anadolu licesi. The students of Kanuni
Anadolu licesi gives us warm welcome and
showers us with hospitality, giving a warm
and stunningly beautiful concert – there
are songs, traditional Turkish dances,
theater plays and poetry. Students from
Kanuni Anadolu licesi gives us
performance and shows us scenes from
world-famous English poet's,
