Our safe, rural location in a friendly market town has easy access to the cities
of York and Hull. With 50 acres of grounds on the edge of the picturesque
Yorkshire Wolds, we combine extensive modern facilities with traditions
dating back to 1514. We are warm, welcoming and provide the ideal

We are less than five minutes’ walk from the centre of Pocklington, with
its independent shops, post office, banks, arts centre, cinema, cafes
and restaurants.
Our specialist teaching facilities are continually being enhanced to provide
an attractive and stimulating learning environment. Facilities include a £3
million Art and Design Technology Centre, the purpose-built 300 seat Tom
Stoppard Theatre, a 200 seat concert venue, an indoor swimming pool,
and an indoor sports hall. In addition to 21 acres of grass rugby, cricket and
hockey pitches, there are also two full-sized synthetic pitches which are used
for hockey and netball in the winter and in the summer are transformed into
18 tennis courts.
Pocklington benefits from excellent transport links with public and private
bus services to the local community. National and international transport
hubs are accessible from York which is 30 minutes away by car.
