Lower School
It has been a busy Summer term where the focus for many has been the drama production of Wendy and Peter Pan. The atmosphere behind the scenes was electric, hugely supportive and collaborative, whilst on stage, pupils were professional and impressive and the entire cast and crew deserves huge congratulations.
Our Lower School ambassadors have been working hard behind the scenes to develop initiatives for the benefit of our School community, and it has been a pleasure and a privilege to see their ideas and confidence grow. The challenge of the term, for the majority, was undoubtably exam week and I hope everyone has taken away a sense of pride in their achievements, along with a few useful targets to carry into next year.
The list of remaining highlights is endless, from our history themed symposium to sports day, to careers research, we could go on...
On behalf of the Lower School House Team, I would like to wish our Second Year pupils the best of luck as they step up into the Middle School. I hope they enjoy rising to the challenges that lie ahead. And to our First Years, well done this year, you have done yourselves proud. And for the 49 pupils joining us on House Camp- I hope you enjoy our adventures!

Middle School
What a wonderfully busy term it’ s been, and one blessed with some glorious weather. This proved especially welcome given the ongoing work on the new Middle School locker area, which has meant the closure of certain spaces and a reduction in available indoor areas. I’ m extremely grateful to our Third and Fourth Year pupils for adapting so maturely. The temporary disruption will certainly be worth it when we see the finished result in September.
This term also marked the departure of our Fifth Year cohort, perhaps the most promising group I’ ve seen in my time here. Their absence is already felt. However, it ' s heartening to know that many of them will remain with us as they move into the Sixth Form and begin to realise their full potential.
Reading the Third and Fourth Year reports has been a real pleasure. Both year groups are shaping up superbly, with exciting academic and personal milestones ahead. I sincerely hope they continue to embrace co-curricular life, whether in the theatre, through music, on the sports field, or wherever they extend their horizons.
Finally, I’ m very much looking forward to welcoming the Second Year into Middle School next term. Until they arrive, it feels like something’ s missing.
Wishing you all a restful and sunny summer. Inaayat Hashim, Head of Middle School
Sixth Form
The Summer term for the Sixth Form is pivotal in many ways. Whilst our Upper Sixth students have completed their courses, celebrated their final school days, revised thoroughly and sat their final exams; our Lower Sixth students have sat their end of year exams and started the process of preparing for and applying to their post-18 pathways. Along with these crucial academic and progression milestones, we have also thanked our outgoing student leaders for doing a fantastic job and appointed a fabulous new team to take up a diverse range of roles across the school. We look forward to working with them and seeing their impact across the whole School community!
