Yolkìír tells us her story of the new PvP Virus.

A new type of disease brings PvP to a whole new level across the galaxy. The new strain of PvP, dubbed by doctors as the “PvP Disease”, was first discovered thanks to Yolkìír, one of the Guild’s Leaders.

“I just couldn’t believe how badly I wanted to kill someone,” she said as she toyed with her lightsaber during a recent interview. “Don’t get me wrong, I love a good bloodbath - but it was overwhelming.”

When on Tatooine helping Zyakun with a few missions, the Guild’s Master quickly realised he felt the symptoms too. It didn’t seem to be problematic until they spent a few hours in the Siltshift Cantina in Mos Ila without any relief.

“Normally when you catch it, it goes away after a few minutes relaxing somewhere safe,” Yolkìír added. “This time, it stuck around like a fly on a dead banther.”

Yolkìír was aware that she had at least the basic version of PvP, and admitted that she received it from her husband, Malavai Quinn. She wasn't expecting it to stick around, however; nor was she expecting the wild and fierce symptoms.

The two of them saw a doctor shortly after completing missions, who confirmed that they had caught the mysterious disease.

Experts have since reported that it is a much stronger and more aggressive version of the already existing PvP. It is a highly contagious disease, and experts warn anyone who knows they have the PvP Disease to stay away from others.

Common symptoms have been recorded as the following: having strange cravings, an insatiable lust or hunger for power, unusually short temper or loss of patience, sadistic tendencies, and the overwhelming need to kill someone on the opposite faction.

If you think you may have this new strain of PvP Disease, please don’t hesitate to contact your local doctor or hospital with any information. If you know you have any kind of PvP, it’s best to get checked out.

Yolkìír bravely shares experiences and symptoms.
