Installation and Maintenance of Fascia boards & Soffits Apprenticeship Level 2 - Intermediate This apprenticeship covers the essential areas of communication, working with others, health and safety, installations, confirming requirements, handling materials, equipment and preparatory tasks required to carry out the installation of fascia boards. Qualifications Level 2 Certificate in Domestic Fascia, Soffit and Bargeboard Installation Technical Certificate Functional Skills in English and maths, if required Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Typical units covered Identify and confirm installation requirements Locate, handle, transport and position materials and equipment Prepare the site for fascia, soffit and bargeboard removal and installation activities Undertake preparatory work on existing materials Entry requirements and who is it for? You must complete an initial assessment identifying prior learning and experience in order to ensure this apprenticeship is the correct pathway. You will also need to show enthusiasm, commitment and interest in the subject area. You’ll be doing lots of kneeling down, lifting and carrying heavy materials so physical fitness is required.
