Education UNIVERSITY OF THE FREE STATE DEPARTMENT OF QUANTITY SURVEYING AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT T he aim of the Department of Quantity Surveying and Construction Management in the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences at the University of the Free State (UFS) is to develop independent and critically thinking graduates with exceptional theoretical and practical skills who will become leaders in the built environment. Over the past few years, the Department has contributed significantly towards the various professions and to the construction industry as a whole.
